Thermal efficiency analysis of buildings with phase change materials.

چکیده
Increasing global temperature is alarming the need for construction industry to have thermally efficient building materials. Incorporating Phase Change Materials (PCM) in buildings widely accepted method reduction temperature, thereby achieving better thermal efficiency. This paper focuses on assessment of performance PCM-incorporated under tropical climatic condition. The simulation process was carried out using Design Builder Software and developed model validated with results available literature. A parametric study also performed order identify effect different parameters like orientation, window wall ratio, ceiling height material indoor air temperature. showed that maximum up 2.76°C.
